Rapper Offset gave his 2-year-old daughter Kulture an $8,000 Birkin bag as a birthday gift, and people are dumbfounded by the extravagant gift.

After he and wife Cardi B celebrating the daughter’s birthday with a luxury kids birthday party last week the rapper shared the moment he unboxed the luxury Hermes purse in a video on his Instagram page.

“I Birkin my baby,” he wrote.

With Kulture briefly holding her purse before putting it back down in the box, fans were quick to say she would have preferred to receive toys or sweets for her birthday instead of a luxury purse.   Others were dumbfounded, stating that the bag costs more than people’s monthly rent.

The favorite designer bag retails for $8,000 and is a popular amongst celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez.  Drake has been collecting the bags for years as a future gift to “the woman I end up with,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.

Cardi B was quick to defend defended her husband’s gift.

She stated “When celebrities buy their kids jewelry and designer s—, people be like, ‘Kids don’t care about that. They only care about toys and candy.’ Yeah, they only care about toys and candy, but the thing is the kids also go outside. Kids go to restaurants, kids go to fancy places. Celebrity kids, they go do red carpets.”

“If I’m fly and Daddy’s fly, then so is the kid. If I’m wearing Cha-nay-nay, my kid’s having the same-same, you know what I’m saying? It’s not up to what the kids like. If it was the kids, they’d be outside in diapers.”

The rapper told fans that she would also be criticized if Kulture looked like a “bumbum” while she dressed like an “expensive b—-.”

Finally stating, “I’m not mad that Daddy bought baby a Birkin,” she said. “She’s gonna match Mommy.”

Kulture, meanwhile enjoyed her birthday with friends and family and was dressed in a pink fairy costume along with a set of bunny ears.
